Some shout outs and stuff I feel is worth a look by anyone - not just geeks and thespians - my favorite things.

All-Time Favorite Television Event:

I get into it at far to great a length in this post but, I’m proclaiming it here: John Adams, which is known is my heart and head as The John Adams Show is the absolute best work of fiction I’ve ever seen on TV.

Favorite Musical:

Yes, the movie was kick-ass but check out the stage version if you ever get a chance. It’s packed with more music, complex composition and sung harmonies - all with the dark themes and twisted humor of one of the greatest Broadway music composers in modern history, Stephen Sondheim.

Favorite Sirius Music Channels:

  • 24- Lithium
  • 26- Left of Center

Everyone knows about Howard and Bubba and all of the sports available with satellite radio (and if you didn’t, now you’ve at least seen it mentioned so read all about it!) but I don’t hear enough people giving props to them for the amazing amount of music they play! The sizes of their playlists are astounding compared to terrestrial music radio and you can hear it yourself by signing up for their free 3 day trial on their website. If you like knowing about up and coming bands before all of your friends or if you just hate commercials and constant repeats, check out my favorite Sirius channels. I listen to pretty much all of the 20’s for music and the occasional 1, 43, 33 and, of course, 71- Broadway’s Best!

Favorite Beer:

You should always try a beer snob’s favorite beer at least once. C’mon. Now, I love all sorts of beers but the American Pale Ale is my favorite - and no one does it better than Sierra Nevada. It’s easy to find fresh and good right out of the bottle. Find it on tap somewhere, though, and you’re in for a treat.

Favorite Online Shopping Experience:

I love shoes, I love merchants who live up to their promises and I love fast shipping. They’ve got it all.

Favorite Sport You’re Not Watching:

We all know my favorite sporting league is the NHL and my favorite sport to play, watch and promote is ice hockey and one could argue (and probably win) that no one is watching that, either. At least not here in Tampa. One sport, though, that I know you’re not paying enough attention to is Arena Football. This is a sport for the whole family that can only be fully appreciated live. Sit close enough to the action and you may catch an official game ball to take home as a souvenir - or you could just have a football player land in your lap. It’s affordable enough that you can score tickets for the entire family for less than dinner out and scoring is usually so high that your little athlete should never get bored. And there’s a net. That they PLAY off of. Seriously! Come see the Tampa Bay Storm and you’ll, no doubt, see me there.

Favorite Performer:

I have a deep love for rambling monologues and great storytellers. He’s one of the best. Plus, he’s usually wearing a dress. Love it.

Favorite TV Shows:

I keep this page up to date with all the things I feel are worthy of free advertising and should be checked out by anyone and everyone, especially my friends.
